March 7, 2022, an interview conducted by the GREC Francilien has bee published on its web page. The objectives of the Ile-de-France GREC (GREC Francilien) are to formalize knowledge into major guiding principles that can be used by stakeholders to decide on land-use planning operations.
March 1, 2022, I have been auditioned by members of the "Institut des hautes études de défense nationalez (IHEDN), the subject of tis audition was titled "Climate change and the maritime domain: communication strategies towards populations and public opinions." The mission of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN) is to promote a culture of defense, to participate in the strengthening of national cohesion, and to contribute to the development of strategic thinking on defense and security issues.

February 7, 2022, acceptation of the paper entitled "10 years and going strong? Coastal flood risk management in the wake of a major coastal event (the 2010 Xynthia storm, Charente Maritime, France) " authored by Estelle Rouhaud and myself and that will be publishjed in Climate Risk Management (Elsevier). Nice!

January 24, 2022, acceptation of the paper entitled ""Knowledge and its legitimacy, a (meta)ethical framework-based analysis of coastal flooding risks in a changing climate and associated narratives" authored by myself, Estelle Rouhaud and Nabil Touili is accepted. Priming the pump for further work on lay ethics in the face environmental upheavals. It will be published very soon by Frontiers in Climate Science.

January 3rd, 2022: We are starting two weeks of intensive, full time, work with my 2nd year master degree in "Adaptation to climate change" students. They sure are smart.
December 15, 2021: CoCliServ, that I had the pleasure to coordinate got a honorable mention at the JPI Climate Excellence Award for Social Impact 2021. This is a very nice recognition of the power of transdisciplinary narrative-based interventions.
December 7, 2021: I have been invited to present the methodological lessons learned in the implementation of Transdisciplinary art and science narrative interventions. We have developed these for the past 10 years and we have reached quite a maturity. This presentation was made in the course of The University of Bergen Environmental Humanities research group seminar.
November 30, 2021: Publication of a reference undergrad textbook on ecological transition. I authored 1 chapter and co-authored a second: Lourtioz, J.-M., Lecomte, J., Szopa, S., Even, C., & Roux, G. (Eds.). (2021). Enjeux de la transition écologique. Enseigner la transition écologique aux étudiants de licence à l’université. Paris: edp sciences.
November 29, 2021: I was elected chair of Clara de la Hoz del Real PhD dissertation Jury
November 24, 2021: Michael Delauney, PhD Candidate working under the joint supervision of Professeur Stéphane Roussel (ENAP Montreal) and myself, defended his PhD dissertation entitled: "Internet in the Canadian Arctic, a soft power issue for the federal government and the Inuit"
November 10, 2021: Presented the RREFlood project to the French members of Pathways2020 funded project consortiums, invited by the Belmont Forum Secretariat.
October 29, 2021: A long interview with FranceInfo is published. I talk about risk perception and the importance of respect when conversing on risk.
October 14, 2021: I had the privilege of being invited to present our work (ARTisticc project) at the Annual General Meeting of ALLENVI France's association of sustainability science operators.
September 22, 2021: I presented the results of the COCliServ project to te funding agencies of the ERA4CS initiative.
September 20, 2021: I presented intermediary results of work that I am conducting on sustainability in the Arctic at the internal seminar of the Senter for vitenskapsteori at the University of Bergen.
September 16 2021: I had the privilege to serve on the Habilitation Jury of Dr. Elsa Lafaye de Michaud. Dr. Lafaye de Michaud presented 25 years of results associated to her research in Malaysia and South-East Asia. She also presented a fascinating research program for the years to come. The habilitation thesis was entitled: DU DÉVELOPPEMENT MALAISIEN À LA PROJECTION CHINOISE EN ASIE DU SUD-EST UNE ÉCONOMIE INSTITUTIONNALISTE DE TERRAIN. (FROM MALAYSIAN DEVELOPMENT TO CHINESE PROJECTION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA AN INSTITUTIONALIST FIELD-BASED ECONOMIC RESERACH PROGRAM). Elsa Lafaye-De Michaud is now holder of the title of HDR. Congratulation!

September 15, 2021: I had the privilege to be invited to to give insight, in the course a broadly advertised public event, on the results of a large scale post Covid-19 comparative survey conducted in London and Paris. I focused of the concept of optimism. I discussed how the Covid-19 year may have impacted differentially the optimism expressed by various age groups and by varying socio-economic categories. I stressed the dual nature of optimism: (a) a source of current well being and (b) a direct source of future potential. I also insisted on the need to repeat this comparative survey regularly in order to gain insight on the dynamic nature of what has been observed.
September 15, 2021: we had the second meeting of the RREFlood project. On the agenda site presentations and task presentations. Ha, Nhat and myself we presented the Ho Chi Minh Field Site. While Charlotte Da Cunha, Charlotte Heinzlef and myself we presented task 4, its theoretical underpinning, analytical stance and foreseen datasets.
September 7, 2021: I presented the work that I conducted with Anne Blanchard et Kari De Pryck to the seminar on Interdisciplnary research organized by the research center "Laboratoire EcoSystèmes et Sociétés En Montagne." This was a unique opportunity to reflect on the progresses made in streamlining interdisciplinary practices within ecosystem centered research. Other speaker were Cédric Gaucherel (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement), Cécilia Claeys (Aix Marseille Université.), and Nicolas Salliou (ETH Zurich ).
