Workshop "Marine Litter, from MACRO to MICRO Plastics: Challenges for Islands and Coastal Zones"

On Friday May 25th, The workshop Marine Litter, from MACRO to MICRO Plastics: Challenges for Islands and Coastal Zones, will take place.
In order to share the experiences of each participant on the growing problem of marine litter and define the individual and collective challenges for the construction of shared solutions.
The workshop will be developed in three steps: (i) Presentation of the experiences, doubts and challenges of each participant; (ii) work in sub-groups; and (iii) preparation of a collaborative document.
The World Network of Island and Coastal Biosphere Reserves was launched in 2009 by UNESCO MAB Program to foster sustainable development in islands and coastal areas and to promote adaptation and mitigation strategies on climate change.
