Les migrations représentent une modalité historique de l’adaptation aux changements environnementaux ou climatiques, mais aussi socioéconomiques. Aujourd’hui, l’attention tend à se focaliser sur les migrations internationales, alors que les migrations internes, sous différentes formes et impulsions, sont également à l’œuvre.

Le séminaire se tiendra les 17 et 18 décembre 2019. La première journée aura lieu à Paris, à l'IEA et la seconde aura lieu à l’OVSQ à Guyancourt.

Research seminar: Issues and dynamics of internal migrations in a changing world

Migrations have been a historical adaptation strategy in the face of changing environments, probably predating the emergence of our species. Today, attention tends to focus on international migrations despite the importance of internal movements, under different pressures and drivers, that we propose to explore in the seminar.

The seminar will take place over two days, on the 17^th and 18^th of December 2019. The first day will be organized in Paris (IEA) and the second in Guyancourt, within the facilities of the OVSQ.
